Holy Cave Shrine at Katra
Pay your respects to Maa Vaishno Devi in the holy cave located at the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu & Kashmir. The trek from Katra base to the Bhawan is 13 km. Pick up from Jammu Airport or Jammu Tawi Railway Station. Travel to the base town of Katra. Check-in at your hotel, collect your Yatra Parcha (access card), rest, and prepare for the pilgrimage. Overnight stay.
Early morning drop at Banganga. Start the 13 km trek to the Bhawan (or travel by pre-booked helicopter/pony). Seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi at the cave. Visit the adjacent Bhairon Nath Temple (accessible by ropeway). Return to Katra for dinner and overnight stay.
Spend the day relaxing at the hotel after the long trek. In the afternoon, visit local scenic points, streams, or shops in Katra. Overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast, check out, and transfer back to Jammu airport or railway station for departure.
