Silent Holy Bath at Sangam / Varanasi
Mauni Amavasya is the most significant day in the Hindu lunar calendar for bathing and charity, especially at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj or the Ganga ghats in Kashi. Taking a silent bath on this day is believed to cleanse the soul.
